Minimalistic weddings – a wonderful example of why less can be so much more
When talking about weddings, few people probably think of minimalism and focusing on the essentials. Because let’s face it, a lot of weddings in particular are about the “a lot helps a lot” motto. It’s not uncommon for brides and grooms to sink into absolute consumer chaos during their planning process. Often, they mistakenly assume that they absolutely need all these things, not least to leave a lasting impression on their wedding guests. After all, your guests may quietly see how much money this wedding has cost you, right? Minimalistic weddings are therefore rarely seen.
And this is exactly where we would like to show you with our LESS IS MORE – inspiration shoot. It can be done differently and in our eyes so much more beautiful.
We asked ourselves how we can put the focus back on what is most important on the day of your wedding: YOU! It’s about your love for each other, your connection to each other, and an unforgettable time spent together with your guests.
Maybe we need less from everything!
And we promise you, every aspect of your minimalistic wedding suddenly takes on so much more meaning, so much more detail and depth. Because all of a sudden, you’re limiting yourself to the points that are the most important to you. And here is where so much more is possible. You listen to yourselves and put your needs above those of the in-laws. You pay more attention to the quality, the value of the individual things that are important to you. Maybe you’ll opt for the florist with sustainably grown flowers, the more expensive wedding rings, or the higher-priced photographer who captivates you. Whatever it may be, it will be worth it! For you and your day.
One more thing we want to tell you:
However, celebrating a minimalistic wedding is certainly not for everyone. And that’s perfectly fine. We’re not at all about only having minimalistic weddings and going 1000% with the concept. Instead, it’s more about a combination of both sides. You can be minimalistic in so many areas of a wedding and that’s essentially what it’s all about. Crossing off unimportant items from your wedding list, instead giving more value and detail to the remaining elements of your day.
Because there can be luxury in simplicity.
And that can show up everywhere. Whether it’s the significantly reduced number of guests (ask yourself: who do we REALLY want to have at our party?), the decorations that are borrowed and not bought, or the buffet that is realistically planned and not completely overstuffed. Your conscious decisions contribute to making this day YOUR day. So completely without compromise.
To sum it up: Let’s focus on the essentials of your day, because less can be so much more here – even (or rather especially) for a celebration like your minimalistic wedding.
