Our journey began in high school, evolving into a refined photography profession after a transformative year spent traveling through Australia in 2017. Inspired by our travels, we approach each wedding as a unique story, blending documentary artistry with editorial elegance.
After marrying in Italy, Julie’s home country, we discovered what makes a celebration truly unforgettable: the moments shared with loved ones, the memories created and the stories told about a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We’re Julie and Uwe, the duo behind The Santoros.
Our story started in high school and grew into something bigger after a life-changing year of travels. That time shaped how we see the world and how we tell stories through our work.
We photograph weddings as they are felt, not staged.
After our own wedding in Italy, we truly understood what matters most. It’s not perfection. It’s the feeling of the day. The quiet moments. The laughter. The people you love, all in one place. The small things you don’t plan, but never forget. That’s what we look for.
We move through your day like guests, present but never in the way. Some couples call us “floating clouds,” and we love that. Because when you feel relaxed and safe, real moments can happen. We simply capture them.
