We’re Julie and Uwe, the creative duo behind The Santoros. Our journey began in high school, evolving into a refined photography profession after a transformative year spent traveling through Australia in 2017. Inspired by our travels, we approach each wedding as a unique story, blending documentary artistry with editorial elegance.
After marrying in Italy, Julie’s home country, we discovered what makes a celebration truly unforgettable: the moments shared with loved ones, the memories created and the stories told about a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. Our work lives in the space between presence and restraint. Shaped by years of shared experience and a formative journey through Australia, our perspective is instinctive, refined and deeply attuned to nuance.
We photograph weddings as they are felt, not staged.
After our own celebration in Italy, we came to understand that true beauty lies in what cannot be orchestrated: the softness of a gesture, the intimacy of a glance, the quiet rhythm of a day unfolding without interruption.
