A Villa Eva Wedding: Three Days in Ravello
Some weddings are a single day. This one was three and every hour of it felt beautiful.
Day One: The Sea
They took to the water first. A boat along the Amalfi Coast, past cliffs that fall straight into the blue, past villages stacked like sugar cubes on the hillside. Guests jumping into the ocean. Then they danced on deck, barefoot, salt-dried, laughing. It set the tone for everything that followed: precious memories, everything genuine.
Day Two: Pizza
The second evening belonged to a favourite trattoria in Ravello – the kind with paper tablecloths and a wood oven that has been lit for decades. Pizza arrived in waves. Wine was poured. Speeches were given and received beautifully. Nobody looked at a clock.
Day Three: Villa Eva
Then came the wedding itself, at Villa Eva, tucked quietly in the heart of Ravello. A Liberty-style villa with garden terraces and a panoramic belvedere spilling toward the sea. The sort of view that makes guests go silent for a moment before the ceremony begins.
Shing and Belino married beneath the open sky and it was the emotion rather than the decoration that carried the day. Vows delivered through tears. A father’s hand held a little longer than necessary. Then dinner under the marquee, toasts and a dance floor that never emptied.
